Prior to registering, please review the below resident, refund and cancellation policies

Am I a Resident?

A resident is any person who lives within the corporate city limits of Altoona. This is not to be confused with being an Altoona Area School District resident. City and School District boundaries are not the same. A non-resident is anyone who does not reside within the corporate city limits of Altoona.

Refund Policy

A refund will be issued, less $10.00 for administrative costs, if the Parks & Recreation Office is notified of your cancellation at least 7 days prior to the start of the program. A full refund will be offered for any program cancelled by the Altoona Parks & Recreation Department.

Class Cancellation

A minimum number of participants are required before a class can be offered. The Parks & Recreation Department reserves the right to cancel a class or make schedule changes when enrollment does not meet the minimum number. Registering on the day of a program will not resurrect it – so please register early!
